In order to conserve our living environment on Earth, Wood One acquired the Forest Management Certification.

We acquired Forest Management Certification (CoC Certification) in our wood building material factories in Philippines, China and Japan. Addition to the New Zealand Forest Management Certification (FM Certification), which we acquired earlier, we have established a delivering system consistently certified from the Forest Management to the final products.

We acquired the Chain of Custody Certification from the Forest Stewardship Council.

At our domestic factories for wood building material and at our overseas affiliated companies, which process and distribute wood building material, Wood One acquired the Chain of Custody Certification (CoC Certification) from the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). On February 2009 in New Zealand, we acquired the Forest Management Certification (FM Certificate) and the Chain of Custody Certification (CoC Certification) in all our forest and in all our local factories of JUKEN New Zealand Co., Ltd. With this we completed to establish a certified production and delivery system in our group, which is consistent from the forest management to the final products.

Certifications at Wood One

>FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)
FSC was established in 1993, in order to promote sustainable forest management, which benefits the society and is appropriate from the environmental conservation point of view, for all the forest in the world.
FSC makes and reviews the principles and criteria for the forest management.

>Forest Management Certification (FM Certification)
This is a certification for the forest management in the forest certification. FM Certificate will be awarded based on「10 Principles」and 「56 Standards」by accreditation organizations to certify proper forest management.

>Chain of Custody Certification (CoC Certification)
This is a certification for the manufacturing, processing and distribution of wood products in the forest certification. Inspection organizations will accredit the proper handling of certified lumbers not to be mixed with uncertified ones through out the process from the forest management to the final wood products.
